Dr. O. Sonny Acho, Ph.D (Senior Pastor)
Dr. Sonny Acho, Ph.D., is the Senior Pastor of Living Hope Bible Fellowship Church, a multicultural ministry whose motto is “Discipling Locally to Impact Globally” located in North Dallas. He is the founder and president of Living Hope Christian Ministries, a ministry devoted to bringing about long-term change in Africa through the local church.
Every year Dr. Sonny Acho takes the good news of Jesus Christ to Africa and beyond with a group of medical professionals, pastors and volunteers through medical outreach, pastor conferences, and radio ministry.
In addition to his ministerial service within the local church, Dr. Sonny Acho maintains a private practice in Dallas, where he ministers to a broader community of believers and non-believers. He is a highly respected mental health professional with a thriving practice in the D/FW area for over eighteen years with a strong focus on family and marriage counseling.
For 25 years Dr. Sonny Acho was a part of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, where he served as Associate Pastor over the Fellowship Ministry for about sixteen years.
He served as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary for five years, and is a national and international conference speaker. He has published two books, “Picking up the Pieces” in 1996 by Crossway Publishers and “If You Only Knew” in 2003 by Moody Publishers.
Dr. Acho has been married for 25 years to Christie and together they have four children.
We Grow Minister Eddie Pratt
Adult Pastor LHBF, Minister Eddie Pratt is the proud father of 1 son, 6 daughters and has 2 grandsons. Minister Eddie Pratt is currently in the Th.M. Program at Dallas Theological Seminary. A man with great passion for Adult Ministries, who serves as the Associate Pastor of “We Grow”, which encompasses Children, Men, Women, Singles, and Couples Fellowships. Minister Eddie Pratt is currently in the Th.M. Program at Dallas Theological Seminary. Before coming to Dallas, Minister Pratt’s ministry accomplishments were co-founding The Fishers of Men for Jesus Ministries in Washington, DC.
We Grow Pastor Robert Triggs
Youth Pastor LHBF, is married to Robyn Triggs and has two teenage boys (Isaiah & Josiah). Pastor Triggs has been serving youth for over 15 years’ in various capacities. He has counseled at-risk youth and is intimately aware of the needs of young people. Robert holds Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Houston and a Master’s of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Robert is most passionate about leadership development and discipleship.
We Serve Pastor Mitchell Moore
Outreach Pastor LHBF, Mitchell L. Moore Jr. is from the state of Arkansas and has over twenty years of ministry experience. He is currently serving as Pastor of “We Serve”. He graduated from Hendrix College with a BA in Philosophy and Theology. He then received a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Pastoral Leadership and Bible Exposition. Mitchell is married to Marron (Abraha) Moore, and they have three beautiful children together Aden, Eliana, and Mitchell III.
